1. Purpose & Traffic Scope

BetterStaq LLC sends strictly transactional, user-initiated SMS messages across the United States (+1) and the United Kingdom (+44). We do not send unsolicited marketing or promotional broadcasts.

2FA / OTP Security Alerts: One-time verification codes triggered when an authenticated user or employee signs in or performs a sensitive security action.
Customer Support Status Updates: Automated status notifications and two-way replies regarding active support tickets opened by the user.

2. Opt-In & Consent Mechanism

Users explicitly opt in to receive transactional SMS notifications during account security enrollment or when submitting a support ticket by entering their mobile phone number and checking the explicit consent box: "I agree to receive security verification codes (OTP) and support ticket updates via SMS from BetterStaq LLC. Message & data rates may apply."
